SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
MANAGEMENT
The Management Undergraduate Program trains professionals specialized in business management with solid theoretical and practical knowledge. Such training enables them to lead first-level organizations in the areas of human capital, operations and logistics management, finance and marketing. Moreover, it enables them to successfully carry out entrepreneurship projects for creating, implementing and managing their own business.
Professionals specialized in business management, planning and organization. They drive with social responsibility and multidisciplinary education within an entrepreneurship-based ethical framework.

SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
ARCHITECTURE
The Architecture Undergraduate Program trains construction professionals under a quality criterion with humanistic education, technical expertise and management skills. Universidad de Lima offers architecture students places to explore different materials, make architectural models and receive training in project management.
Professionals with construction skills who provide solutions with creativity and social responsibility, generating a positive impact on urban and environmental surroundings.

SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION
COMMUNICATION
The Communication Undergraduate Program—created in 1972 and forerunner nationwide—provides comprehensive training focused on planning and management of communication projects, as well as on development of innovative products with creativity and critical approach. The flexible curriculum allows students to have a bigger picture of this profession and the possibility to choose one or more specializations.
Professionals capable of conducting journalistic endeavors, developing marketing strategies, and preparing advertising plans, as well as designing video games and applications, corporate image and social development programs. Furthermore, specific capacities and competences in graphic design and photography to plan and implement different visual projects.

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
The Accounting and Finance Undergraduate Program trains highly qualified professionals for the market of industrial, commercial, consulting and business advisory service companies, thanks to their proven efficiency in information management and high skills to make right decisions in financial, tax and control areas.
Professionals with suitable skills on financial, accounting, tax and control areas. Fully capable of designing, planning, developing and implementing strategic solutions within global environments.

SCHOOL OF LAW
LAW
The Law Undergraduate Program trains lawyers with bold legal knowledge capable of applying, interpreting and incorporating legal regulations on a case-by-case basis. Hence, special attention is given to negotiation techniques that lead to dispute resolution without resorting to procedural means, in accordance with the conciliation trend prevailing in the modern world.
Professionals with in-depth knowledge of legal sciences capable of taking over leadership positions within any scope, and finding efficient and ethical solutions.

ECONOMICS
The Economics Undergraduate Program trains highly-skilled professionals to work in private or public sectors. In the private sector, our economists will be able to dynamically interpret the effects of environmental factors, in order to optimize organizations’ economic resources. This will enable them to efficiently face short- and medium-term issues from actual and financial perspectives. In the public sector, they will be able to provide viable solutions to important matters for the country’s development.

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program strengthens the construction industry, and offers students a solid training in design and construction with great technical soundness. Moreover, students will learn to lead work teams, manage processes and costs, and develop eco-friendly projects that offer creative and innovative responses to the global construction sector.
The civil engineer graduated from the University of Lima stands out for its comprehensive approach and innovative capacity to solve problems in the construction sector. With a solid background in science, engineering, research and management, along with a collaborative and multidisciplinary perspective, the graduated uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to manage infrastructure projects in an efficient and sustainable manner at all stages of the asset's life cycle.
Its commitment to excellence is reflected in the ability to consider technical, global and social aspects in the design and implementation of projects, prioritizing the positive impact on the community.
Student Outcomes (SO) describe the competencies that a Civil Engineering student develops during their academic training. Below are each of the skills:
- An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
- An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
- An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
- An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
- An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.
- An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
- An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) describe the achievements that a professional in civil engineering must develop in their professional performance, which have been defined taking into account the opinions and insights of employers, graduates, teachers and students.
The Civil Engineering professional from the University of Lima achieves the following educational objectives:
- Demonstrates technical competencies for planning, analysis, design, construction, supervision, operation and maintenance of infrastructure.
- Possesses competencies in project management, collaborative work and integration of information and communication technologies to provide valid, creative, innovative and sustainable technical answers for the efficient management of infrastructure projects.
- Exercises leadership and is able to communicate effectively in multidisciplinary teams during the integral management of infrastructure projects.
- Recognizes the relevance of continuous learning in its professional development and identifies the opportunities offered by new technologies in the field of infrastructure management.
- Has the ability to research, develop knowledge and innovate in the field of engineering, in order to respond to the challenges of the environment from continuous improvement processes.

The Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Program trains professionals who promote a culture of quality and constantly seek new opportunities for improvement in organizations. The Marketing Undergraduate Program trains students to lead innovation processes, create unique value, develop brands and new markets, and make managerial decisions in organizations of their own or from third-parties. PSYCHOLOGY
The Psychology Undergraduate Program offers an updated theoretical and practical training that enables students to work efficiently in clinical, educational and organizational areas. The methodology used encourages the development of diagnosis, and individual and group treatment. Graduates have a commitment to service, respect and interest in people to understand and explain their behaviors and mental processes. It also provides strategies to predict people’s actions and intervene in modifying aspects that can enhance their development and welfare in different aspects of their life.
Professionals fully aware of the psychological processes of human behavior in different situations. Moreover, they are able to design and apply techniques that solve individual and group behavior issues.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Nomination by email
The home university must nominate students by sending an email to uce_intecambio@ulima.edu.pe. including the student’s full name, email address, currently attending school, and the semester they plan to attend.
Application via Mobility Online
Each student will receive a link to apply through the Mobility Online platform. Once there, the student must upload the documents listed below.
Letter of Acceptance
This will be submitted within 15 days after receiving the complete application documents.
Visa Process
Students must upload the following documents to the Mobility Online platform at least 50 days before their arrival to Lima: air ticket (round trip), accommodation address in Lima, international health insurance, and statement of solvency to travel to Peru.
Enrollment
Students will receive an email with enrollment instructions three weeks before the beginning of classes.

CREDIT SYSTEM
One Ulima credit is equivalent to one hour of theoretical class per week throughout the semester or two hours of practical classes per week. The semester has 14 weeks of classes. Courses may carry between 2 and 4, credits depending on their level of difficulty. The Ulima credit is different from an ECTS credit. Some European partners use this equivalence: 1 Ulima credit = 1.5 ECTS.

GRADING SYSTEM
The grading system ranges from 0 to 20; any grade under 11 is considered a failing grade.
Course evaluations are conducted throughout the semester (from week 1 to week 15 of classes).

ACADEMIC ADVISING
The International Mobility Office will support students in selecting their courses during the weeks leading up to the enrollment process. Students are allowed to make changes in their registration (add, change, or drop courses) only until the first week of classes.

ACCOMMODATION
While on-campus housing is not available at Universidad de Lima, we provide a comprehensive list of accommodation options to help students find a suitable place to stay. Our team is also available to offer guidance and support throughout the process.

AIRPORT PICKUP SERVICE
Free airport pickup service is provided for the arrival day of students. We recommend to ask for this service at least two (2) weeks before the arrival date.

PALS PROGRAM
At Universidad de Lima, each international student is paired with a dedicated PALS partner to ensure a seamless exchange experience. From cultural immersion to academic guidance, your PALS partner will be there to support you every step of the way. The program includes assistance with official course registration and personalized guidance on using the Ulima App and Blackboard platform. The program's objectives are:
- Help exchange students adjust to academic life and the Ulima campus
- Practice a foreign language (both students)
- Get to know new people, their languages, customs, culture, etc.
