The Law Program trains professionals with in-depth legal expertise, ready to analyze and apply the law effectively in any scenario. With a strong focus on negotiation, we prepare future lawyers to resolve conflicts efficiently—without the need for litigation—aligning with today's global trend toward alternative dispute resolution.

CURRICULUM

The curriculum is exclusively designed to train highly skilled lawyers who excel in both the public and private sectors, as well as in national and international organizations.

Students who have completed their studies in Law are eligible to apply for the bachelor's degree. Once obtained, they may then apply for the professional title.

INFORMATION

At the end of the academic term, students who have successfully completed all required courses and earned the necessary credits outlined in their program curriculum will automatically obtain the graduate status. They will then receive an email from DUSAR.

Video Tutorial: How to Request a Graduate Certificate?

Requirements:

  • To earn your Bachelor's degree, you must first graduate from the Law Program.
  • Submit a scanned copy of your valid national ID (DNI) in PDF format, vertically oriented, and named using your LAST NAME, FIRST NAME in all caps.
  • Provide proof of completion of pre-professional internships (at least six months). 
  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in a foreign language. For more information, contact the Ulima Language Center.
  • Update your photo according to the following guidelines:
    • Women: white blouse with a collar and a dark blazer
    • Men: dress shirt, tie, and blazer
  • Submit your application through Mi Ulima portal.

The professional title in Law will be awarded upon the successful completion of one of the degree pathways corresponding to either the thesis or professional proficiency project modalities, as outlined in the relevant procedures.

To apply, candidates must:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad de Lima and meet the requirements. 
  • Have completed at least 18 months of pre-professional and professional internships.

Once the corresponding professional tittle modality is approved, students must request their diploma through Mi Ulima portal.

CONSORTIUM OF UNIVERSITIES

It is a non-profit civil association comprising Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad del Pacífico, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and Universidad de Lima. This partnership enables students from these four universities to access shared academic and institutional services, facilities, validated courses, and credit equivalency for subjects completed at any of the member universities.

Universidad de Lima offers students the opportunity to develop in global environments, enhance their networking, and live an international experience through the optional second international bachelor’s degree programs.

University of London

Thanks to the agreement between Universidad de Lima and University of London (UOL), internationally recognized for its high academic standards, students can obtain a second international bachelor’s degree without leaving the country: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. This program is available to students from all undergraduate programs at Universidad de Lima.

STUDENT ADVISING PROGRAM

For over 10 years, the School of Law at Universidad de Lima has offered free family law assistance through its Legal Clinic, in collaboration with the Basic Labor Education Program "La Inmaculada" (PEBAL), located in Pamplona Alta, San Juan de Miraflores.

Beyond legal advice, the clinic supports hearings, training sessions, and awareness initiatives. Led by Attorney and Professor Teresa Elizabeth Maquilón Acevedo, this program reinforces our commitment to justice, legal rights, and social development for vulnerable communities.

Objective
To provide free family law assistance to vulnerable populations and improve their access to justice, while strengthening the practical training and social responsibility of students in Universidad de Lima's School of Law.

The Administrative Law Clinic delivers free legal support to the community. Students, mentored by faculty, assist the public to improve access to justice and reinforce understanding of administrative law. This service is intended for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Objective
To strengthen the University’s social engagement and advance students’ education through the practical application of administrative law, addressing real cases and offering free legal services. The clinic also aims to reinforce students’ professional competencies and promote access to justice for the benefit of the community.

The Student Advising Program is a free service offered by the School for students at academic risk, providing personalized guidance and support throughout the semester. Led by Professor Lourdes Zamudio Salinas and supported by a team of student advisors, the program actively monitors and guides participating students.

To provide individualized guidance and support to students at academic risk to optimize their performance, develop academic skills, and reinforce their commitment to professional training.
