Earning a master's or PhD is the main goal that motivates our students to pursue and complete their graduate studies. To support this, the Graduate School provides clear academic guidelines that uphold quality standards and ensure that students meet all requirements for graduation through a thesis or research project.
THESIS AND DISSERTATION DEFENSE
Master's Requirements
- Complete the current curriculum of master's program
- Demonstrate proficiency in a foreign or native language
- Pass the defense of the research project or thesis
PhD Requirements
- Complete the current curriculum of the PhD program
- Demonstrate proficiency in two foreign languages, or in one foreign and one native language
- Pass the thesis defense
BLOGS
The blogs feature key insights from each undergraduate program and offer our university community high-quality, relevant information. This section fosters dialogue and the exchange of ideas, encouraging the dissemination of academic and professional knowledge.
LIBRARY
It offers high-quality information resources for research, learning, and teaching. It also provides online support for APA citation, guidance for admitted students, and educational modules on information management. With access to over 60 databases, the Library serves both undergraduate and graduate students through online consultations, BiblioChat, and research support via specialized services and products.
INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY
This Repository was created to preserve and share the scientific, academic, intellectual, and cultural output of the Ulima community, along with technical and scientific documents produced through interinstitutional agreements. The initiative is part of a broader effort to support national development by using digital tools that promote open access and wide dissemination of information.
JOURNAL PORTAL
An open-access digital repository that preserves, organizes, and promotes the academic contributions published in Universidad de Lima's scholarly journals. The articles explore topics across the humanities, science, and technology, and aim to expand the global reach of the University's research.
PUBLISHING FUND
Its mission is to publish scholarly work and research produced by faculty, as well as notable contributions from academic events. The goal is to share ideas and knowledge from across the University’s disciplines, promoting engagement with both the academic and wider community.
