Alberto Tokeshi, Dean of the School of Economics, presented the third edition of his book, Plan, Develop, and Successfully Defend Your Thesis: A Guide to Better Results. Aimed at undergraduate and graduate students from all academic programs who wish to earn their degrees, the book explores innovative topics such as the use of artificial intelligence.
“This book allows me to share methodological tools and technical skills with students, helping them achieve their goal of earning their degrees through research,” explained Dean Tokeshi, who emphasized the importance of ethics as a cornerstone of research.
The event was led by Rector Patricia Stuart, who expressed her gratitude to Dean Tokeshi for his lasting contributions and for continuing to advance knowledge with the same passion and commitment that have defined his career at Universidad de Lima.
“More than a book, this is the story of a life dedicated to teaching, research, and helping generations of students succeed,” said Rector Stuart. “It reflects the generosity of a teacher who shares his experience to help students achieve one of their most important goals: earning their degrees.”
Guillermo Boitano, Director of the Economics Program, and Guillermo Dávila, Director of the Scientific Research Institute (IDIC), also shared their thoughts on the publication.
With nearly 44 years at Universidad de Lima, Dean Tokeshi is both an alumnus of the Economics Program and a graduate of the Ulima MBA program. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Education. His wife and children joined him to celebrate the presentation of his book.
