The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Universidad de Lima, Innova Ulima, fosters a culture of innovation and promotes entrepreneurship throughout the country. By connecting academia and the private sector, it generates a positive impact on societal growth and well-being.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS
First Step is an incubation program for Universidad de Lima students and alumni that transforms business ideas into opportunities with global potential. Selected teams participate in workshops and personalized mentoring sessions that help them identify and define real-world problems, validate their target market, develop a minimum viable product (MVP), and plan for sustainable growth. The program concludes with a Demo Day, during which a judging panel selects the recipients of seed funding.

The Expand Acceleration Program supports startups in expanding into international markets. It is designed for technology-based ventures with high growth potential that have validated their business model and are seeking to scale internationally. Created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, the program focuses on business growth, fundraising, and international expansion through connections with global networks. The program concludes with a pitch event during which startups present their ventures to angel investors.

Startday is where entrepreneurial journeys begin. Learn, connect, and accelerate your venture alongside leading voices from Peru’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. Innovation Board is a community of innovation managers from some of Peru’s leading companies. Its objective is to foster collaboration in open innovation and create opportunities for strategic engagement with Universidad de Lima and access to talent, expertise, and collaborative projects that address real-world challenges. The initiative promotes technology transfer and applied research, strengthens competitiveness, and fosters high-value industry–academia partnerships.
The Scouting Program identifies and evaluates technology-driven startups whose solutions align with the challenges of the corporate sector. Its objective is to connect startups with established companies as strategic partners, providers, or investment opportunities. The program maps the entrepreneurial ecosystem across key industries and promotes collaborations that support digital transformation, operational efficiency, and technological development. Innova Ulima serves as a bridge, creating valuable connections with real impact.
