ABOUT
The Office of Innovation and Educational Quality (ICE) supports Universidad de Lima's academic community by advancing initiatives that promote educational innovation, faculty excellence, and curriculum quality. The office provides guidance and support to academic units, departments, and administrative offices in the design of innovative instructional materials, teaching methodologies, learning assessments, faculty development initiatives, curriculum review, competency assessment, and other related processes.
To ensure that teaching and learning are supported by innovative resources and high standards of instructional and curriculum quality, fostering excellence in educational practice.
To serve as a leading resource for educational innovation, faculty excellence, and curriculum quality, supporting all academic and administrative units.

AREAS
INNOVATIVE EDUCATION
Provides innovative tools and resources that help faculty enhance their teaching practices and create meaningful learning experiences for students.
Resources include:
- Audiovisual materials: tutorials, microlearning content, course presentations, research promotion videos, and more.
- Graphic materials: infographics, document design and layout, social media content, and more.
- Interactive materials: websites, gamification platforms, interactive videos, among others.
- Educational event production.
- Faculty development workshops for training programs.
FACULTY EXCELLENCE
This area establishes and ensures the University's standards for teaching excellence through three key areas:
- Faculty evaluation
- Continuous assessment and teaching methodologies
- Faculty development
CURRICULUM QUALITY
This area promotes curriculum quality across the University through:
- Curriculum review
- Competency assessment
- Analysis of national and international educational trends
- Advising academic units on the design, development, updating, and revision of undergraduate and graduate programs.

INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
3rd International Forum on Innovative Educational Experiences
The forum, organized by Universidad de Lima, was held in a hybrid format on October 26–27, 2023. The event brought together basic and higher education educators to reflect on innovative approaches that are transforming the teaching and learning process. Featured speakers included internationally recognized experts Germán Gallego, Gonzalo Frasca, and Yuliya Shtaltovna, who discussed topics such as emerging technologies in education, innovation management, and socioemotional well-being in learning environments.
2nd International Forum on Innovative Educational Experiences
ICE organized the forum on October 13–14, 2022. The event was designed for basic and higher education educators, as well as the general public, and provided a space for sharing innovative ideas aimed at transforming the teaching and learning process.
1st International Forum on Innovative Educational Experiences
As education continues to evolve in an environment shaped by digital technologies and abundant information, innovative teaching methodologies play an essential role in fostering critical thinking and developing the skills needed to evaluate information effectively. These topics were explored during the forum, held virtually on October 14–15, 2021, and organized by ICE.
