On December 3, Universidad de Lima hosted the 2025 University Consortium Fellowship Luncheon at its newly inaugurated Parque Cruz del Sur Cafeteria. The event brought together rectors, senior university leaders, and delegations from the Consortium’s member institutions—Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Universidad del Pacífico, and Universidad de Lima—which have worked collaboratively since 1996 to advance joint academic initiatives and strengthen higher education in Peru.
The meeting was led by our Rector, Patricia Stuart, who reaffirmed the Consortium’s commitment to academic excellence and equitable access to knowledge: "The decision to drive positive transformation defines our purpose and sustains our progress amid local, global, and technological change. Let us move forward together—creating, researching, and evolving."
University leaders reflected on the Consortium’s 2025 achievements and established strategic priorities for 2026, reaffirming their shared commitment to collaborative initiatives that strengthen research, advance teaching excellence, and expand access to knowledge.
Cristina Guerra Giraldez, Director of the University Consortium, also recognized the collective efforts of the member institutions: "I deeply appreciate the dedication demonstrated this year and the commitment that will carry us forward. May these 30 years of partnership lead to deeper integration and shared well-being."
The fellowship luncheon strengthened a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose, reaffirming the University Consortium’s leadership in advancing higher education and contributing to Peru’s long-term development through sustained academic engagement.
