Rector Stuart Joins International Program on Innovation and Transformation in Spain

Rector Patricia Stuart participated in the Leading Innovation & Transformation Strategies program in Madrid. Organized by Seminarium Internacional, the program was delivered and certified by IE Business School, one of Spain’s most prestigious educational institutions.

The program brings together executives and leaders from organizations across Latin America, equipping them with tools and approaches to navigate change, foster innovation-driven organizational cultures, and enhance strategic decision-making in complex, rapidly changing environments. In a world of constant change, leaders who keep learning are the ones who keep transforming.

“I’m wrapping up the Leading Innovation & Transformation Strategies program at IE Business School with new insights, lots of ideas, and, most importantly, gratitude for the people and conversations that made these days an unforgettable experience,” Stuart said.

During her stay in Spain, Rector Stuart also met with Ulima graduates from different academic programs who live in Madrid. The event was organized under the Alumni Ambassadors Around the World program, an initiative of the Office of Alumni Relations.

“It’s such a pleasure to reconnect here with members of our Ulima Alumni community. I always say that Universidad de Lima reaches far beyond our campus, and meetings like this remind me just how true that is,” Stuart said.

The Madrid visit highlighted two key priorities for Universidad de Lima: keeping its leadership informed about the evolving challenges of higher education and strengthening connections with graduates who remain engaged with their alma mater from around the world.
