Through its Sustainability Center (Responde Ulima), Universidad de Lima engages students in climate action by implementing initiatives to protect vulnerable ecosystems, raise environmental awareness on campus, and manage and monitor environmental indicators. Ronny Fischer, director of the Ulima Sustainability Center, highlighted these efforts in an article published in Stakeholders magazine on July 10.
Fischer also highlighted Universidad de Lima’s beach cleanups, tree-planting programs, and campaigns promoting the recycling and reuse of organic waste and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). He also underscored the strategic partnerships established with other organizations to strengthen these initiatives.
