New Tennis, Padel, and Fronton Courts Open at the Mayorazgo Sports Complex

Universidad de Lima strengthened its commitment to campus life and well-being with the inauguration of eight new sports courts in Mayorazgo, featuring fronton, tennis, and padel facilities, along with complementary areas and universal accessibility.

During the ceremony, Rector Patricia Stuart highlighted the dual importance of the new facilities for the University community. “This will be a space that promotes well-being and a sense of community, while also contributing to the sports ecosystem that has long supported the development of student-athletes who represent our University in Peru and abroad,” she stated.

Rector Stuart also emphasized that excellence extends beyond academics to athletics, where discipline and effort play a key role in students’ holistic development. “I am honored to stand where our student-athletes strive for their best. This is far more than the opening of a facility; it is a commitment to an educational model that fosters human development beyond academic performance,” she added.

The new courts are now open to the entire Ulima community, with reservations available through Mi Ulima portal. The complex also features a sports shop where users can rent or purchase equipment for each discipline.

Through this inauguration, the University reaffirms its commitment to holistic student education and to strengthening athletics as a vital pillar of university life.
