Miami Dade College and Universidad de Lima Strengthen Institutional Collaboration

A delegation from Miami Dade College (MDC) visited Universidad de Lima as part of a broader initiative to strengthen academic and institutional collaboration between both universities.

Rector Patricia Stuart welcomed the delegation led by MDC President Madeline Pumariega. The visit also included the participation from U.S. Ambassador to Peru Bernie Navarro. "I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact MDC has on its students," stated Navarro, who is a former member of the institution’s Board of Trustees. "It was an honor to accompany its leadership during their visit to Universidad de Lima. When institutions like these come together, the future becomes even more promising," he added.

Members of the Advisory Council and several academic directors from Universidad de Lima accompanied Rector Stuart during the visit.

The academic delegation visited key university facilities, including the Artificial Intelligence and Project Simulation laboratories, as well as the Antonio Pinilla Library.
