Rector Patricia Stuart welcomed recipients of the Ilse Wisotzki Scholarship to the latest edition of Coffee with the Rector—an initiative led by the Rector's Office that fosters meaningful dialogue with students. The gathering also included Beatriz Canessa, Director of the Well-Being Office, and Eduardo Guzmán, Director of the Communication Office.
During the event, Rector Stuart reaffirmed her commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with students by listening to their experiences, understanding their concerns, and exploring together the challenges and opportunities they may face as they prepare to make meaningful contributions to the nation.
To date, the Ilse Wisotzki Scholarship has supported 32 students: 10 in 2024, 13 in 2025, and 9 in 2026. Among the recipients, 22 are from Lima and 10 come from other regions of Peru, primarily graduates of the High Performance Schools (COAR, as in Spanish). The scholarship covers tuition and enrollment fees, a living stipend, health insurance, English language instruction, and other additional benefits.
This initiative reflects the Rector's commitment to engaging directly with students, gaining firsthand insight into their university experience, and supporting them throughout their academic journey at Universidad de Lima.
