Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial participó en conferencia internacional
Del viernes 18 al lunes 20 de febrero, la Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Arquitectura de la Universidad de Lima participó en la XI Conferencia Internacional sobre Tecnología Industrial y Gestión (11th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management - ICITM 2022) en Oxford, Reino Unido, evento en el que participaron instituciones de 25 países a nivel mundial.
Durante nuestra presentación, nuestros investigadores lograron sustentar con éxito 23 papers, consiguiendo una ratio de participación de 37% del total de papers aceptados en este congreso.
Ruth Vásquez, directora de la Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, destacó la importancia de generación de conocimiento, desde la Carrera, y su continuo proceso de crecimiento en investigación y desarrollo desde las aulas:
“Nuestros alumnos, de esta manera, intercambian y difunden experiencias aplicativas basadas en los diversos temas de ingeniería. Felicitamos a nuestros alumnos por participar en la 11th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management, congreso reconocido en el ámbito científico, así como al equipo de docentes que acompañó a los alumnos en el logro de sus objetivos”.
El 19 de febrero, nuestra Universidad presentó, durante la primera sesión, los papers “Lean - BPM Integrated model to improve productivity in SMEs in the aquaculture sector: A research in Peru”, de Piero Ríos del Castillo y Renzo Guía Espinoza; “Production model implementing Lean Manufacturing tools to increase order fulfillment in SMEs of the textile manufacturing sector”, de Beatriz Martel Valverde y Patricia Kehuarucho Chaparro; “Production Model to Increase the Level of order fulfillment through the Implementation of Lean tools and ergonomics in SMEs of the textile sector”, de Alexis Ancalle Polanco y Antoni Rafael Abad; “Model of Optimization of Production based on the application of Lean tools to increase productivity in footwear manufacturing SMEs”, de Alejandra Lisseth Pacora Valverde y Manuel Alejandro Valenzuela Ramos; “Application of Lean Total Productive Main tenance tools to reduce setup times and machine stoppages on the molding line of an SME in the food industry”, de Renzo Peralta Pereda y Frank Zamora Ccahuantico; y “The Impact of Implementing Lean Manufacturing Tools in the Productivity of the Dyeing Area of a Textile Company”, de Andrei Kuryla Queirolo y Arturo Novelli Toce. Todos estos trabajos contaron con la participación de los profesores investigadores Juan Carlos Quiroz Flores, Martín Fidel Collao Díaz y Alberto Flores Pérez.
Durante la segunda sesión, ese mismo día, se presentaron los trabajos “Information technologies in restaurants in the city of Lima: Analysis of strategic variables”, de Boris Lecca Bermúdez, Adrián Figueroa Reyes, Martín Collao Díaz, Carlos Chirinos Cuadros, Juan Quiroz Flores y Alberto Flores Pérez; “BPM SCRUM Integrated Model with Digital Marketing to Increase Patient Recruitment Rate in Mental Health Services”, de Juan Carlos Quiroz Flores, Mariana Fhon Palacios, Adrián Yuijan Flores y Martín Collao Díaz; “Characterization of the Fintech industry for the peruvian market”, de Rafael Hidalgo Castilla, Stefano Mejía Trujillo, Marcos Fernando Ruiz Ruiz, Martín Collao Díaz, Juan Quiroz Flores y Alberto Flores Pérez; y “Operations Optimization Model under the PDC: An approach to increase the number of visitors in a shopping mall: An empirical research in Peru”, de Alejandro Mosqueira Stucchi, Ignacio Vassallo Burneo, Alberto Flores Pérez, Martín Collao Díaz y Juan Quiroz Flores.
Al día siguiente, nuestros investigadores presentaron los trabajos “Production Model based on Total Productive Maintenance and Systematic Layout Planning to increase Productivity in the Metalworking Industry”, de Carlos Seminario Mestanza, Andrea Soto Araujo, Martín Collao Díaz, Juan Quiroz Flores y Alberto Flores Pérez, durante la tercera sesión; “Integrated Lean BPM production process optimization Model to increase order fulfillment in SMEs in the Textile Sector”, de Juan Carlos Quiroz Flores, Alithú Ankara Márquez Ordinola, Judith Anita Vásquez Solís Echegaray y Martín Collao Díaz, durante la cuarta sesión.
En la quinta sesión se presentaron “Service Model to increase the profitability of debit cards applying Lean Service and Digital Marketing in retail banking”, de Marco Candela Cribillero y Franco García Marreros; “Lean Service Management Model to increase the level of service in Peruvian a metalworking SMEs”, de Jhon Kennedy Campos y Renzo Gonzalo Navarrete; “Service model under the Lean approach and Theory of Constraints to increase the level of service in SMEs in the Health Sector”, de Ana Ordóñez Silva y Javier Quiñones Campos; “Model applied to the purchasing area using lean service and six sigma to improve gross margin in a company in the hotel sector”, de Gonzalo Barrera Ramírez y Jaime Ramírez Gonzales; “Inventory management model integrating Lean and FLD to increase service level in an automotive retail: An Empirical Research in Peru”, de Katia Galindo Álvarez y Rossy Trigueros Evaristo; “Lean Service Model with Simulation in Arena to improve response time of the technical service in a Peruvian SME”, de Renato Espinoza Guzmán y Emanuel Roca Retuerto; y “Safety Management Model based on Lean Construction and Behaviour Based Safety to reduce accidents in SMEs in the construction sector”, de Virginia Gonzales Pejerrey y Fressia Morocho Caballero. Todos ellos con la participación de los profesores investigadores Martín Collao Díaz, Juan Quiroz Flores y Alberto Flores Pérez. Durante esta sesión también se presentó el estudio “Lean Service Model to Reduce the Cancellation Rate of Cards in Peruvian Retail Banking”, de María Escudero Arrascue, Jimena Poma Roca, Juan Quiroz Flores y Martín Collao Díaz.
Finalmente, durante la sexta y última sesión, se presentaron los trabajos de investigación “Service management model based on BPM and MRP to increase customer satisfaction in SME in the fast food sector”, de Ricardo Fernández Ríos y Sebastián Salas Guillén; “Management Model to increase inventory rotation in SMEs in the Mining Industry”, de Zenia Beatriz Campos Espejo y Anthony André Coronado Zamalloa; y “Production: Management model based on 5s and Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) to improve the level of service in the cleaning sector”, de Marco Huamán Torres y Giannina Poma Chávez; los tres estudios en colaboración con los docentes Martín Collao Díaz, Juan Quiroz Flores y Alberto Flores Pérez. Próximamente, todos estos trabajos serán indexados en Scopus.
