Architecture

Introduction

Architecture is part of what makes us humans: where there is civilization, there is architecture. The presence of buildings and structures for human life, whether from ancient, contemporary, traditional or modern architecture, bears witness to the development of a society. To erect said buildings and structures involves designing and also building, i.e. managing a company: to successfully materialize an architectural plan. Thus, architecture is the space occupation technique, architect’s art and expression of his/her personal vision, building company, and cultural expression of the society that produces said architecture.

Therefore, in order to contribute to the urban development and discipline improvement of Peru, the Architecture Undergraduate Program prepares professionals with creativity, social responsibility, technical skills, broad awareness of the environment and management skills. For this purpose, we create an intellectual and motivating environment where we encourage free thinking, curiosity, creativity, collaboration, communication, diversity and professionalism focusing on the development of new architectural models.
