Eduardo del Solar
Director of the Master of Business Administration Program

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (São Paulo, Brazil). He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). He pursued graduate studies in Finance at the ESAN University, and is an industrial engineer from the University of Lima. He is the director of the Master’s Program in Projects and Operations Management at the University of Lima. He is an operations leader with over 25 years of experience as a general manager and director in supply chain, project management, strategic planning and management.

Patricia Stuart
She holds a doctoral degree in Administrative Sciences from the Major National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) and an MBA degree from California State University, Fullerton. She is an economist from the University of Lima. She currently serves as full professor and vice president of the University of Lima. She is chair of the UN’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter. She is a member of the Latin American and Caribbean Advisory Council of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and the Editorial Committee of the 360: Revista de Ciencias de la Gestión journal of the Academic Department of Management Science of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) program to pursue the International Deans’ Course Latin America 2015/2016. She also received a scholarship from the United States Department of State – Phelps Stokes Fund in 2000.

Jorge Aurich
He holds an MBA degree from the University of Piura and the IESE Business School. He is an expert in Positive Psychology from the Chilean Institute of Positive Psychology, and a coach certified by Jamming - International Coaching Community (ICC). He is an economist from the Pedro Ruiz Gallo National University. He is an exclusive representative from Happy Brain Science (United States of America). He has over 18 years of management experience in the development of commercial intelligence, market research, strategy formulation, marketing plans, and product innovation and launch. He is a professor of master’s programs and undergraduate programs in renowned national institutions.

Jesús Calderón
He holds a master’s degree in Finance from the ESAN University. He has a diploma in Banking, Risk and Microfinance; Corporate Finance; and Investment Banking from the ESAN University. He is a Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) from the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM). He is an economist from the National University of Callao, with an extensive experience in the financial system, and specialization in the areas of credit, finance and risk.

Marimé Carbonell
She holds an Executive MBA degree from the INCAE Business School and the Adolfo Ibáñez University. She is a business administrator from the University of the Pacific. She has worked for Belcorp as a marketing manager in Peru and Colombia, and as a general manager in Guatemala and Costa Rica. Currently, she works as a consultant in strategic planning and business strategy.

Edmundo Casavilca
He is completing a Doctoral Program in Accounting and Financial Sciences at the San Martín de Porres University. He holds a master’s degree in Administration from the University of Quebec (Canada), and a master’s degree in Economics with a major in Finance from the National University of San Marcos. He has over 30 years of professional experience in the cost and finance area of industrial, commercial and service companies. He is a consultant and adviser of companies with problems related to costs, operational management, and other economic and financial affairs.

Luis Chang
He holds a DBA degree from the Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands). He has previously worked as vice president of SOS Children’s Villages of Peru (Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú) and national vice president of the Peruvian Economist Association. Moreover, he was a congressman of the Republic of Peru from 1995 to 2001. Currently, he works as a manager in national enterprises and conducts business consultancy.

Astrid Cornejo
She holds an MBA degree in Sustainable Management from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg (Germany). She completed the Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme of the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom). She has a professional title in Biology from the Ricardo Palma University. She held the position of institutional relations manager of Perú 2021. Currently, she works as a businesswoman and general manager of AC Sostenibilidad.

Giovannie Escribens
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of the Pacific. He has pursued graduate studies in Competency-Based Human Resources Management at the University of Lima, and holds a professional title in Economics from the University of Lima. He has been manager of human resources at Holding Alimentos. Currently, he is manager of human resources at Quimpac.

Fernando García-Rada
He is a doctoral candidate in Economics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria). He holds an MBA degree from the University of Quebec (Canada). He holds an Executive MBA degree from the San Ignacio of Loyola University and the California State University, Fullerton (United States of America). Currently, he is the director of the Training and Development Institute of Small and Micro Enterprises.

Juan Manuel Garfias
He is a doctoral candidate in Family Enterprises and Entrepreneurs at the Nebrija University (Spain), and holds a master’s degree in Sciences and Agricultural Productivity from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). He has held positions related to knowledge management and entrepreneurship in oil, banking and manufacturing industries, and in universities and NGOs. Currently, he is an academic director of Bizlac and general manager of Significant Consultores.

Juan Gabriel Herrera Indacochea
He holds an MBA degree from the University of Oxford and pursued a specialization course in Open Innovation at the London School of Economics. He has over twelve years’ experience in market research, strategy and management of distribution channels, and innovation in the financial sector where he served as open innovation leader at Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP). He is currently director of the Qualitative Research and Transformation area at Ipsos Perú. Moreover, he is the organizer of TEDxTukuy, Peru’s first TEDx event.

Miguel Ángel Patiño Antonioli
He holds an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands) and a master’s degree in Strategic Business Management from CENTRUM Graduate Business School. He is an industrial engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He is fluent in English and Italian, and has over ten years’ teaching experience in the areas of statistics, operations, logistics and technology, market research, simulation, waiting line models, Markov chains, VBA and SharePoint. In addition, he is a consultant with over ten years’ experience in soft skills, processes transformation, management, strategic planning and statistical topics.

Jorge Peralta
He holds a doctoral degree in Management Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and an MBA degree from the IPADE Business School (Mexico). He has a certificate in Design Thinking from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and the IESDE School of Management (Mexico). He is a civil engineer from the La Salle University (Mexico). He is the founder of Idearia Lab, an innovation agency. He is a member of the board of directors in enterprises from different sectors and the driving force of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Mexico.

Eduardo Quintanilla
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the EGADE Business School (Mexico). He holds a professional title in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He was the brand and digital strategy manager at Banco de Crédito del Perú, and Cusqueña brand manager at Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus y Johnston. Currently, he is the marketing and trade marketing manager at Campari Group.

Antonio Ramos
He holds an MBA degree from the IPADE Business School (Mexico). He is an industrial engineer from the Panamerican University (Mexico). He has been the business manager at Herramientas Hecort. Currently, he works as an independent consultant at Business Talent Group.

Ricardo Torres
He is completing a Doctoral Program in Anthropology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He holds an MBA degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) and the University of Lima. He has been the general manager of Inversiones Ancona, leader of the Employer Solutions division of Grant Thornton Perú, and independent contractor of the Center for Creative Leadership (United States of America). He is a consultant, lecturer and trainer of managerial skills in graduate schools and recognized enterprises in connection with issues such as storytelling, design thinking, business model, leadership, critical thinking, etc. He is the founder and general manager of Proeq Lab, an agency of innovation, soft skills and commercial development.

Lizardo Vargas
He holds a doctoral degree in Communication from the University of Navarra (Spain), and is a visiting researcher of the Doctoral Program at the Northwestern University (United States of America). Moreover, he has post-doctoral studies in Psychology from the Staffordshire University (Great Britain). Currently, he is a research coordinator and professor at the Graduate School of the University of Lima. He has published different research articles on consumer psychology and marketing communications in a number of scientific journals, as well as the books called Publicidad en mercados saturados (Advertising in Saturated Markets) and Marcas & mentes (Brands & Minds).

Pedro Villegas
He holds a master’s degree in Finance and a professional title in Economics from the University of the Pacific. He has over 12 years of professional experience in corporate finance in the areas of enterprise valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and financial modeling.

Julio Yzaguirre
He holds an executive master’s degree in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He holds an MBA degree from the Freeman School of Business at the Tulane University (United States of America). He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He has been a regional manager of Engineering and Digital Transformation Projects at Cimacom and systems manager at Grupo Graña y Montero. Currently, he is manager of information technology and processes at Tasa.
