Health Services
The essential function of the University of Lima’s Department of Health Services is to ensure the health of the entire university community. This Department is open during class hours from 07:00 h to 22:00 h.
The Department of Health Services has five doctors and three nurses who provide health care services in three daily shifts.
Specialties:
- Emergency.
- Internal Medicine.
- Traumatology.
- General Medicine.
- Infirmary.
- Nutrition.
Students registered in the University have a Personal Accident Insurance, at no additional cost, which has been extended to cover some medical conditions such as:
- Appendicitis.
- Cancer (in cases of hospitalization).
- Aneurism, vascular malformations and others.
