Competency-Based Specialization Programs (PEC)

Competency-Based Specialization Programs (PEC) are aimed at businesspersons, executives and business entrepreneurs. They provide theory and practice training in modern management applications and in handling techniques for the development of new skills and competences to be immediately and efficiently used in the organizations where participants work. It has a minimum of 120 hours (7.5 credits) and a maximum duration of 224 hours (14 credits).

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Aimed at

  • Accounting managers and heads, controllers, professionals who work in the financial and accounting area of a company.
  • Internal auditors, consultants, financial analysts and advisors.
  • Statutory auditors, investors and professionals involved in planning, preparing, issuing and reviewing financial reports.

Goals

  • Identify the origin of the IFRS, as well as the interpretations of the IFRS Interpretations Committee (Interpretations Committee, formerly IFRIC) and the Standard Interpretations Committee (SIC).
  • Distinguish the accounting and tax treatments for certain events as a result of the implementation of the IFRS, IAS, Interpretations Committee and SIC, tax rules in force in Peru and their effects on determining the income tax expense.
  • Identify the elements that compose the structure or organization of the IFRS.
  • Determine and analyze the professional accounting goal, scope, definitions and treatments established by the basic IFRS and their interpretations regarding specified transactions.
  • Establish the legal liability assumed by the board of directors, management and certified public accountant depending on or regardless of the implementation of the IFRS and the interpretations of the Interpretations Committee and SIC at the time of preparing, submitting or auditing financial statements of companies or clients for external users.
  • Compare the accounting rules with the tax and corporate law of Peru.
  • Understand the problematic situations at the time of applying criteria in the current accounting and disclosure practices through the analysis of each standard and development of case studies.
  • Prepare financial statements under the IFRS which will contribute to a better decision making.

Specialization Program of Skills (PEC) in Investment Management - Preparation for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I Exam

Aimed at 

Executives, advisors and analysts of the finance, investment, projects and financial market risks areas.

Main goal

Prepare participants to satisfactorily take the CFA Level 1 exam, a designation that defines professional excellence within the global financial community and that also measures the competence and integrity in the fields of investment analysis and portfolio management.

Aimed at

Executives, marketing managers and analysts, account executives in advertising agencies, planners, community managers, managers of entrepreneurial companies who desire to enter social networks, advertisers, communicators and all persons related to the growth of a brand and who want to intervene in digital management process decisions.

Main Goal

Goal

Contribute effectively to the development and training of professionals linked to the human resources area, able to design and implement people management processes that promote human talent in organizations based on the development of their own skills related to management and personal effectiveness in line with the organization’s strategy.
