Diplomats

Diplomats or International Officials with diplomatic status performing an official mission in Peru will be exempted from the admission exam to enter the General Studies Program. This benefit is also applicable to their spouses and children.

In the case of Peruvian Diplomats or International Officials with diplomatic status, as well as their spouses and children, the direct admission modality will be valid until the year following the end of their official mission abroad.

Requirements for in-person enrollment related to the admission to the General Studies Program

  • National Identity Card (DNI) / Alien Registration Card / Passport. 
  • Original copy of student´s complete academic record issued by the secondary school.
  • Official certificate evidencing the status of Diplomat or International Official with diplomatic status in Peru, and indicating the official mission performed in the country, position and period of the mission, or certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirming said status. 
  • Authenticated copy of the passports of the Diplomat or International Official with diplomatic status and applicant in which the date of entry into the country is documented.
  • Copy of the Agreement, if any, which confirms the reciprocal treatment by the countries of origin.
  • Hard copy report of the online pre-enrollment form

Requirements for in-person enrollment related to the admission to a professional program

  • National Identity Card (DNI) / Alien Registration Card / Passport.
  • Original copy of student´s complete academic record issued by the secondary school.
  • Original copy of the student’s transcript confirming that he/she has approved a minimum of 36 credits.
  • Syllabi or study plans of the courses approved in the university of origin sealed by the faculty.
  • Certificate evidencing that the student has not been expelled from the university of origin on disciplinary and/or academic grounds, dated within the last three months. 
  • Certificate of the cumulative grade point average. 
  • Basic English Certificate.
  • Official certificate evidencing the status of Diplomat or International Official with diplomatic status in Peru, and indicating the official mission performed in the country, position and period of the mission, or certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirming said status. 
  • Authenticated copy of the passports of the Diplomat or International Official with diplomatic status and applicant in which the date of entry into the country is documented.
  • Copy of the Agreement, if any, which confirms the reciprocal treatment by the countries of origin.
  • Hard copy report of the online pre-enrollment form

Remarks

  • Minor applicants must submit, at the time of their in-person enrollment, the following document, completed and signed by their legal guardian (please attach a copy of the legal guardian’s ID). Authorization for minors
  • Foreign applicants must submit, as a requirement, the requested documents translated into Spanish by a state certified translator (if necessary), as well as sealed and signed by the Consulate of Peru in the country of origin and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
  • The Ministry of Education of Peru must recognize the secondary studies performed abroad. The applicants must submit the pertaining documents confirming such recognition on the indicated dates.
  • Basic English Certificate must be issued by any of the following institutes: Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (ICPNA), Asociación Cultural Peruano Británica (ACPB), Language Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (INIPUC), Language Center of the University of the Pacific (UP), Standard Certification Services Perú S.A.C.
  • The enrollment fee is S/ 550.00 (Five Hundred Fifty Soles), which must be paid on the same day of the in-person enrollment, after the verification of the documents. 
  • The admitted applicants who want to change their program will be able to request it only as from the beginning of the first academic term and on the established dates. In the event that his/her application is approved, the program change will be effective from the next academic term.
